  • At this time, I do not accept insurance for therapy services, but I am committed to making high-quality mental health care accessible to everyone. I offer sliding scale fees for clients who need financial assistance and also accept HSA or FSA cards for payment.

  • A sliding scale is a flexible pricing model used by therapists and other professionals to adjust fees based on a client's income or financial situation. This allows individuals with lower incomes to access services at a reduced rate while maintaining affordability. Sliding scales help make mental health care more accessible for those who may not have insurance or the means to pay full price. If you’re interested in a sliding scale fee, please reach out using the contact form and mention that you’d like to explore this option.

  • I work with adults as well as adolescents aged 10 and older. When working with preteens and teens, I typically request an initial meeting with the important adults in their lives to support the therapy process.

  • In your first session, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where you can begin to share your experiences and concerns. Sessions are 50 minutes and here’s what typically happens:

    1. Introductions: We’ll start with some brief introductions, allowing you to get to know me and my approach to therapy.

    2. Overview of the Process: I’ll explain how our sessions will work, including confidentiality, scheduling, and what to expect moving forward.

    3. Gathering Information: I’ll ask questions about your background, current challenges, and what brings you to therapy. This helps me understand your unique situation and goals.

    4. Setting Goals: Together, we’ll discuss what you hope to achieve through therapy. Setting clear goals can guide our work together and help you stay focused on your healing journey.

    5. Questions and Concerns: Feel free to ask any questions you may have about the process, my therapeutic approach, or anything else on your mind.

Your first session is an opportunity to begin building a therapeutic relationship and create a foundation for our work together. Remember, it’s a space for you to express yourself openly and honestly.

  • The duration of therapy varies for each individual and depends on several factors, including your specific goals, the challenges you're facing, and your personal progress. Typically, clients are seen weekly or biweekly to maintain momentum and provide consistent support. Some clients may find relief and achieve their goals in just a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term support.

During our initial sessions, we'll discuss your needs and determine a plan that works for you, including the frequency of our meetings. Regular check-ins will help us assess your progress and decide together how long you may want to continue. Ultimately, the decision is yours, and I'm here to support you every step of the way on your journey to healing and growth.

  • Yes I also offer telehealth appointments for clients physically located in Nevada at the time of our session. You can join the video session using your phone, tablet, or computer, as long as you have a strong Wi-Fi connection and a private, quiet space. For safety and focus, telehealth sessions require the use of video and remaining stationary throughout the appointment—this means no driving during the session.
